The Lafayette Group is a dedicated and compassionate non-profit (501(c)(3) that stands at the forefront of hostage recovery and humanitarian assistance regardless of the location.
Founded in 2018 by military veterans, the Lafayette Group is dedicated to the rescue and recovery of American and international hostages held in some of the world's most challenging conflict zones. Today, we operate in Syria, Iraq, and North Africa and are the only organization utilizing cutting-edge mobile DNA sequencing technology to identify fallen victims on-site
As a nonprofit, we are fully funded by our community, allowing us to act with independence, efficiency, and agility. This freedom enables us to navigate complex environments and deploy resources where they are needed most. All services are provided at no cost to the affected families. We believe no one should face the pain of uncertainty alone, and we are committed to delivering answers and hope, no matter the challenge.
